On June 5, a conference titled ACI’s BIOPESTICIDES EUROPE 2024 took place in Barcelona, highlighting the role of biopesticides as innovative solutions for crop protection, ensuring the application of sustainable agricultural practices and minimizing the ecological impact of pest control.
Specifically, this event brought together researchers, industry leaders, and other stakeholders involved in innovation from around the world, showcasing the advances, challenges, and opportunities presented by biopesticides.
BIOVEGEN participated by delivering the presentation “The role of BIOVEGEN as a Public-Private Partnership and an R&D Services Provider in Plant Production”. In this presentation, the activities and tools of the Platform were introduced, including a section dedicated to the FITONET Operational Group and its goal to develop a digital environment and living laboratories to enhance the valorization of agricultural interest plant genetic resources.
