On June 4 and 5, 2025, the international conference Biopesticides Europe 2025 was held in Madrid, bringing together experts from the agricultural sector, research, and public policies to discuss advances, challenges, and opportunities regarding biopesticides. The event addressed key topics such as commercial scalability, integration with precision agriculture, and regulatory challenges.
In this context, BIOVEGEN participated with the presentation “The role of BIOVEGEN as a Public-Private Partnership and R&D Services Provider in Plant Production“, showcasing its activities to promote agri-food R&D. In this regard, BIOVEGEN presented the NATURSMOKE Operational Group, focused on the development of new smoke products that contribute to the efficient control of phytopathogenic diseases in greenhouses and post-harvest using active principles from food by-products.
