Recently, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation has launched the new AI R&D Missions Program.
This program is endowed with 50 Million € and is part of the Spain Digital Agenda 2025 and the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy.
It aims to finance (with a high % of subsidy) large projects, fostering collaboration among research organizations, large companies, and SMEs around the use of artificial intelligence in sectors of great relevance and high potential for disruption and impact.
One of these sectors is the AGRI-FOOD: a sustainable global agricultural industry with a neutral carbon footprint, using Artificial Intelligence, robotics, and bioengineering to identify new agricultural production methods for 2050.
