The CDTI will launch on July 10, 2024 the Misiones Ciencia e Innovación 2024 call, with a budget of 84 million euros in grants, which will remain open until September 6, 2024.

This initiative will promote the funding of pre-competitive research projects in cooperation, developed by business groups consisting of a minimum of two and a maximum of six companies, led by a large company or an SME (excluding microenterprises). Specifically, in this current call, high aid intensities are planned, which could reach up to 80% in grants.

Additionally, under the Misiones 2024 framework, the Mission 4: “Ecosystem Decontamination” and Mission 8: “Sustainability and efficiency in processing and packaging for a quality and safe food industry” stand out.

At BIOVEGEN, we believe there may be opportunities for the ag Biotech sector in this current call through the previously highlighted missions. Therefore, we have prepared this report, which summarizes the main features of the call.
