CDTI has launched the Misiones Ciencia e Innovación 2026 call, with a budget of 60 million euros in grants, which will remain open until June 12, 2026.

This initiative will promote the financing of pre-competitive research projects in cooperation, developed by business groups consisting of a minimum of three and a maximum of six companies, with at least one SME. Specifically, in this current call, high levels of support are expected, which could reach up to 80% in grants.

Additionally, within the framework of the Missions 2026, the Mission 6 “Food sovereignty in Spain: a sector focused on efficiency, quality, sustainability, and food safety” stands out.

At BIOVEGEN, we believe there may be opportunities for the agbiotech sector in this current call through the missions previously highlighted. Therefore, we have prepared this report, which summarizes the main characteristics of the call.
