On April 22, 2026, the “II WEBINAR GO BIODIF: biofunctionalization of strategic crops to improve their competitiveness in the market” was held, an event dedicated to presenting the advancements of this innovative project and its members.
During the event, which had more than 45 participants throughout its duration, the main objectives of BIODIF were presented, an innovative initiative that aims for the biofunctionalization of national strategic crops such as tomato, corn, and olive through nanotechnology to enhance their competitiveness in the market.
Additionally, the project members discussed the progress of the working lines that have been developed over the past months. The webinar concluded with the intervention of the PITMAD Operational Group, an initiative aimed at promoting sustainable pitaya cultivation in Spain and the EU.
