The BET project (Biocontrol e-Training), of which BIOVEGEN is an Associated
partner, is funded under the ERASMUS+ program, a European initiative for the development of educational and professional projects. The aim of the BET project is to create a new distance learning tool on biocontrol aimed at a diverse group of trainers (training organizations, universities, technical institutes, etc.) in different European countries. The project is also directed at learners (students, farmers, professionals, etc.) to give them a better understanding of what biocontrol is.
The first version of the distance learning tool on biocontrol is available at the following link and will be available for another month for interested parties to test it and provide feedback. The final version of the platform will be available in the fall. In this context, a questionnaire has also been published to evaluate the design, content, and usability of the platform. Additionally, the project has held introductory webinars on biocontrol in France, Spain, Italy, and the UK, organized in partnership with IBMA and attended by nearly 300 people.
