The European Technological Platform “Plants for the Future” has been working for some time on establishing a European public-private collaboration partnership for Integrated Crop Production (ICP initiative).
This ICP initiative aims to create a public-private funding tool for R&D activities in the field of Integrated Crop Production, directed at defining and providing a sustainable improvement in European agricultural production systems.
Due to the development of the new political initiative “Food2030” by the European Commission, we find ourselves at a timely moment to highlight the importance of the plant sector and ensure its recognition at the European level.
As a next step, a survey has been prepared for all interested parties to include their knowledge and opinions in the draft of the ICP-cPPP, which is currently being drafted by the Technological Platform “Plants for the Future.”
BIOVEGEN collaborates with the Plants for the Future Platform in the development of this initiative as well as in other activities benefiting the technological development of the agri-food sector.
*Deadline: July 22, 2016.
