BIOVEGEN meets with the Deputy Directorate General for Public-Private Collaboration Strategies (MICINN)

On March 29, BIOVEGEN held a meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN) with Ms. Luisa Castaño, Deputy Director General for Public-Private Collaboration Strategies at MICINN, and the team responsible for the Biotechnology and Health area of that Deputy Directorate. In this meeting, the Platform informed MICINN about the latest activities carried out throughout 2011 and presented a scheme of the Action Plan designed for the coming years to consolidate the Platform’s activities. For its part, MICINN suggested lines of action for the coming months, emphasizing the search for collaborations with other related Technological Platforms, such as Biomass, Biotechnology Markets, and Sustainable Agriculture. Additionally, there was a follow-up on the latest information regarding upcoming financing tools, especially the INNPACTO and INNFLUYE 2011 calls.
