On Monday, December 9, 2024, the State Research Agency (AEI) published the new call for Public-Private Collaboration Projects 2024. This initiative is part of the State Plan for Scientific, Technical, and Innovation Research 2024-2027 within the State Program for Transfer and Collaboration and the State Subprogram to promote Collaboration in and between the Public and Private Sectors.
Key aspects of the call:
- Total budget of 320 million euros: 80 M€ in grants, 60 M€ in the form of reimbursable FEDER advance and 180 M€ in loans.
- Minimum eligible budget: 400,000 € per project.
- Grant of up to 100% for Public R&D Organizations and loans of up to 95% for private sector companies.
- Project duration: 3 years, starting in 2025.
- Among the 6 thematic priorities are: Food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture, climate, and environment.
- Publication date: December 9, 2024.
- Application deadline: 15/01/2024 – 05/02/2024.
